About
Many devices are unnecessary limited by Garmin, e.g. no navigation, only 4 datafields on screen, no interval training, sport types are limited, ...
AK Sports is a comprehensive app to close these gaps and support many sport types in a glance. Following sport types are defined, but you are fully free to define your own:
- Climbing (indoor and outdoor)
- Trail Run
- Mountainbike
- Mountaineering
- Competitions
- X-Skate
- Skiing
- Table Tennis (as an example for ball sports)
- Interval Training (for running, biking, etc.)
- Car
- Paragliding
- Walking (as an example for Low Power Mode - LPM)
To use the navigation feature, please register at https://dynamic.watch . The website will guide you to get a PAC, which is to be copied via Garmin Connect to AK Sports.
Example for Sport Definition (feel free to change sport definition via Garmin Connect):
[TrailRun,1,3,1,25][15,1,4,9,7,10,101,14,20][0,100][15,2,23,6,24,8,25,15,26]

Define Interval Training example:
HT+(1,10)+8x((4,20)(2,15))+(2,10)
- H = Heart rate training (or P = Pace training)
- T = intervals are defined in time periods (or D = Distance)
- (1,10) = interval definition 10 seconds in pulse zone 1 (in this case warm up)
- 8x((4,20)(2,15)) = 8 iterations of 20 seconds zone 4 with pause of
