Model “Outdoor Pilot TC”: “TC” stands for Touch Screen Control.
Some functions are controlled via the touch screen. According to the instructions, press lightly on the glass for about 1 second.
If you'd rather not use the touch screen, I recommend the Outdoor Pilot AC model. AC stands for “app controlled”.
In the lower section, you can change the background color.
In the middle section, you can select the time or one of the charts.
In the middle left section, you can show or hide the sun path.
In the middle right section, you can select the second hand.
In the upper section, you can select the bezel and date color.
Pressing process:
The watch face updates every second.
That’s why the watch needs about 1 second to register the press. It takes another 1 second for the change to take effect. The advantage here is that you can quickly adjust the color scheme without using your smartphone.
Would you prefer to control everything manually in the Garnmin Connect app? Then choose the Outdoor Pilot 24h Display MC watch model.
The watch displays a wide range of data in a single overview.
To achieve this, multiple data sets are overlaid.
The data changes every 3 seconds. This gives you a complete overview without having to select specific data. The interval time can be adjusted as needed.
The following data is displayed:
The top field shows the date and a customizable world clock.
Top left: Moon phase with illumination in %, current weather and temperature, weather and temperature in 4 hours
Top right: Sunrise, sunset, start of the blue hour in the evening
Center: Digital time display, barometric pressure graph for the last 6 hours, altitude in meters or feet depending on your watch settings, chance of rain for the next 12 hours, temperature forecast for the next 12 hours.
3rd row from the bottom, left: Meters climbed and descended per day
3rd row from the bottom, right: Pulse, Stress, Body Battery
2nd row from the bottom, left: Steps, Calories, Distance
2nd row from the bottom, right: Battery, Power (your current power output in watts), Precipitation (current probability of rain)
Bottom row: Altitude above sea level in meters or feet according to your watch settings, air pressure in hPa, wind speed in km/h or mph according to your watch settings
