Open the Garmin Connect IQ Store app on your phone. 2. Search for “SpeedGuard Legacy”. 3. Open "SpeedGuard Legacy" and tap Install. 4. Sync your Edge with the Garmin Connect app. The Data Field will be installed automatically. 5. Add SpeedGuard to your data screen After installation, SpeedGuard Legacy must be added to a data screen: 1. On your Edge, open the activity profile you use for cycling. 2. Go to Data Screens. 3. Select an existing data screen, or create a new one. 4. Choose the data field you want to replace. 5. Select Connect IQ. 6. Select SpeedGuard Legacy. 7. Save the data screen and start your activity. Configure SpeedGuard Legacy Open Garmin Connect on your phone: More → Garmin Devices → your Edge → Activities & Applications → Data Fields → SpeedGuard Legacy→ Settings Button Change the settings and tap Save. The changes are applied after the Edge syncs with Garmin Connect. IMPORTANT: Make sure Tones are enabled on your Edge to hear SpeedGuard's audio alerts.
