About

WARNING: The app is intended only as an in-flight aid and should not be used as a primary information source. If the app contains a barometric altimeter, it will not function in a pressurized aircraft and should not be used in a pressurized aircraft. Your fuel gauge on the wrist: Fuel Burn shows how much fuel you have left — or how much you have used — while you fly. Everything is calculated from the flight timer and your aircraft's hourly fuel burn. GET STARTED (in the Connect IQ Store app: My Device / My Data Fields / Fuel Burn / Settings) 1. Enter your burn rate, e.g. 15 liters per hour 2. Enter your fuel on board, e.g. 80 liters 3. Start the activity — your fuel counts down while you fly WHAT YOU SEE - A cockpit-style fuel gauge from F (full) to E (empty). Green while you have plenty, amber when it gets low, red at your reserve - Your remaining fuel as a large number, e.g. "34.5 L" - ENDURANCE: how long you can still fly. TO RSV: how long until you reach your reserve - At your reserve, the watch pops up a warning and vibrates GOOD TO KNOW - No fuel on board entered? The field simply shows fuel USED instead - Taxi & run-up fuel can be added automatically when the timer starts - Pauses don't burn fuel — only timer time counts - Liters or US gallons - Your fuel estimate is saved with the activity. After refueling, compare it with the real amount and fine-tune your burn rate - TIP: put the field on a data screen with the single-field layout to get the big full-screen gauge. In smaller slots it shows a compact view All settings live in the Connect IQ Store app on your phone (My Device / My Data Fields / Fuel Burn / Settings) and take effect immediately — even in flight. IMPORTANT — SAFETY NOTICE: This data field is a simple time-based estimate. It does not measure actual fuel flow or fuel quantity. Do NOT use it for flight planning, fuel management or any safety-critical decision. Always rely on your aircraft's fuel instruments, your POH and official flight planning.
