About

This data field shows your stopped time, which can either be recent or total stopped time (since you reset it in settings). It's designed with Audax / Brevet events in mind but can be used for any cycling activity. In settings (changed in IQ Store app - Device - Data fields - Settings on paired phone) you can choose a Display Mode of recent stopped time or total stopped time. In addition you can change the Total Stopped Time to a known value or zero. To reset before an activity, set the value to 0. It is expecting seconds in integers, eg whole numbers. Whilst the timer is stopped, it will show a stopped time of 00:00:00. Starting the timer (for a new activity) will update the field to either show the total stopped time since you reset it, or recent stopped time, including the time the GPS was off or since the last activity was saved. This enables it to show you total or recent stopped time during a cycling audax or event over many days, where the GPS may be turned off overnight, and activities saved each day. The data field uses a minimum of 30 seconds to detect if you are stopped. If you are moving at less than 1 m/s (3.6 km/h), for at least 30 seconds, then it considers you as stopped. Once you are moving faster than this (again meassured over a minimum of 30 seconds), then it considers you to be moving. If showing recent stopped time, then it will show the stopped time for up to 4 minutes after you get moving again. After which it will show 00:00:00 (for recent stopped time) assuming you are still moving. If it detects multiple stops within 4 mins of each other then recent stopped time will show you their total, as it considers it essentially the same stop. It ignores auto pause for the purposes of determining stopped time. Privacy. The data field neither requests nor stores any personal data.
