Badminton ScoreKeeper

About
Official-rules badminton scorekeeper with serve tracking and match statistics.
Step onto the court, open the app, press a button on every point. The app handles the rest: who serves, from which side, when to take the interval, when to change ends, when the game is won. Afterwards it hands you a full summary of your session.
Before you play
Mode : Singles or doubles. In doubles the app also tracks which of your two players should serve.
Format : 21, 15 or 11 points.
First serve : who starts.
Record activity : on or off. When on, the watch records a real session with your heart rate, which lands in Garmin Connect. When off, the app is just a scorekeeper.
The home screen also opens your history.
During the match
Top : game number and games won, e.g. G2 1-0. Just below, GAME POINT or MATCH POINT appears when it applies: green when it is yours, orange when it is theirs.
Middle : both scores, your side on the left. The serving side is shown in green, with a chevron pointing at it.
Below : who serves, and from which service court, right or left. In doubles the serving player's number is added.
Bottom : match timer, and your live heart rate when recording.
At key moments an orange banner crosses the screen: 60 s interval, Change ends, Game 1 won.
Controls
Action Buttons - Touch screen
Point for you UP - Tap the top half
Point for them - DOWN Tap the bottom half
Undo last point - BACK
Open the menu - START or MENU
Back undoes a point rather than leaving, so a match cannot be lost by mistake.
Vibrations
Event Vibration
Point scored one short
Interval two medium
Game won three firm
Match won two long
Nothing to undo two very short
Vibrations follow your watch setting: if you turned them off, the app stays silent.
Match menu
Undo : steps back one point, even across the end of a game.
Server : fixes who is serving if the app and the court disagree.
Swap our players / Swap their players (doubles) : fixes player positions.
Pause : pauses the timer; scoring the next point resumes it.
End match : closes and archives the match.
Discard match : closes it without archiving.
What the app handles for you
The serve goes to whoever wins the rally : rally point scoring.
The service court follows the score's parity: even score serves from the right, odd from the left.
In doubles, the server at side-out is the one in the correct service court, and partners only swap when they score on their own serve.
The interval fires once per game, at halfway.
Change of ends is announced midway through the deciding game.
A game needs a two-point lead, except at the cap.
The winner of a game serves the next one.
One session, not one match
The recorded activity covers your whole session, not each match separately. Finish a match, pick Next match, adjust the format or switch to doubles, and play on the recording never stopped. When you are done, End session closes it.
The result is one badminton session in Garmin Connect, with a lap per game and per match, instead of one activity per match.
Match summary
Result, games score, per-game breakdown and durations, total duration, rally count, longest run of consecutive points for each side, points won on serve and on return for each side, average and maximum heart rate.
