About

Power Zone Live 7 is a cycling data field for Garmin Edge devices designed to make power-based training simple and easy to read while riding. Your current power zone is displayed clearly using a 7-zone FTP model. The large live power display and color-coded zone bar allow you to see your current training intensity at a glance. The data field displays: • Live power • Watts per kilogram (W/kg) • Heart rate • Cadence • Speed • Current FTP power zone • Color-coded 7-zone overview • Live timer for the current power zone SMART ZONE DETECTION Power Zone Live 7 uses stabilized zone detection. A new power zone is confirmed only after the power has remained in that zone for 6 seconds. This prevents short power fluctuations from constantly changing the displayed zone and makes the data field smoother and easier to follow while riding. ZONE TIMER The integrated zone timer shows how long you have continuously been riding in the current confirmed power zone. During short stops or coasting, the current zone remains displayed and the zone timer pauses instead of resetting immediately. When riding continues, the timer resumes. This makes the data field especially useful for interval training, endurance rides and structured power-based workouts. The layout is optimized for quick readability on Garmin Edge cycling computers, allowing you to concentrate on riding instead of constantly interpreting multiple data fields. Recommended layout: For the best viewing experience, use Power Zone Live 7 on a dedicated data page with a single data field. Enjoying Power Zone Live 7? What's new

Version 1.1.1 Improved zone detection and zone timer behavior: • Power zone changes are now confirmed only after 6 seconds of stable power. • Short power fluctuations no longer cause immediate zone changes. • The current zone remains displayed during short coasting or stops. • The zone timer pauses when power drops below 10 W. • If cadence data is available, the timer also pauses below 20 rpm. • The timer resumes when riding continues. • Improved stability for interval training and real-world riding.
