About

JUST ACTIVITY IQ Just Activity IQ is a clean, highly configurable activity watch face built around three concentric progress rings. Each ring is assigned independently, so the face shows exactly the data that matters to you — at a glance, in a compact, modern layout. THREE CONFIGURABLE RINGS Choose any metric for each of the three rings (outer, middle, inner). Each ring shows a short label and its current value at its start point. Available metrics include: • Activity: Steps, Active Minutes, Active Calories, Floors, Move Bar, Calories • Health: Heart Rate (scaled between your lowest and highest heart-rate zones), SpO2, Body Battery, Stress, Recovery • System: Battery, Bluetooth, Solar Intensity • Weather & environment: Air Quality (AQI), UV index, Humidity, Cloud Cover, Chance of Precipitation CLOCK, SECONDS & DATA FIELDS The time sits above the rings, with live seconds shown inside the ring cluster. Around the rings you get several configurable data fields plus two linear progress bars (upper and lower), so you can surface dates, weather, sun events, notifications, battery and dozens of other complications. COLOR THEMES Pick from 19 ready-made themes — Tactical, Military, Cyberpunk, Stealth, Sunset, Ocean, Forest, Inferno, Arctic, Royal, Carbon, Matrix, Glacier, Amber, Crimson, Mint, Magma, Twilight and Sand — each with its own distinct ring colors. Or switch to Custom to set every color yourself, and use Default to reset. ALWAYS-ON DISPLAY Full AMOLED support. On AMOLED watches you can optionally show the complete layout in Always-On mode (with a small battery cost); on MIP displays the full layout is always shown. WEATHER: GARMIN & OPENWEATHERMAP Weather metrics can be pulled from two sources. Garmin's native weather works out of the box on supported devices. For richer data — including UV, humidity, cloud cover and Air Quality — you can connect OpenWeatherMap. OpenWeatherMap (OWM) subscription This watch face uses OpenWeatherMap's One Call API 3.0, which is NOT part of the basic free plan — it requires its own subscription: 1. Create a free account at openweathermap.org. 2. Subscribe to the "One Call by Call" plan. It includes 1,000 free calls per day; a payment method is required, but you can cap your account's daily call limit at 1,000 so you stay within the free allowance and are never charged. 3. Copy your API key and paste it into Settings, under "Your OpenWeatherMap API Key". 4. Set how often weather refreshes: 10, 15, 20, 30, 45 or 60 minutes. A brand-new key/subscription can take a little while to activate on OWM's side before requests return data. Without it, OWM fields stay blank, but Garmin-native weather and all non-weather metrics keep working normally. Air Quality (AQI) The Air Quality ring and field use OpenWeatherMap's free Air Pollution API with the same key (this part does not need the One Call subscription). AQI is reported on OWM's 1–5 scale: 1 = Good, 2 = Fair, 3 = Moderate, 4 = Poor, 5 = Very Poor. On a ring the value fills proportionally toward the maximum of 5, giving you an instant read on local air conditions. TIPS • Set your daily Calories goal in settings so the Active Calories ring scales correctly. • Heart Rate ring limits are taken automatically from your device's heart-rate zones. • Choose a weather update interval that balances freshness against battery life. Pick your three rings, your fields and your theme — and make it yours.

What's new

1.1.5 - New: "Last 7 days Active Minutes" — a rolling total of intensity minutes over the last 7 days (today plus the previous 6), using Garmin's standard formula (moderate + 2 × vigorous). Available as both a data field and as a ring option (scaled against your weekly goal, default 150 min). 1.1.0 - Update notes: Training Status — The header field can now show your current training status (Productive, Recovery, Maintaining, etc.), read directly from the watch. Weekly Run & Bike Distance — Two new data fields, available in every field slot, showing your total running and cycling distance for the week in km or miles (follows your watch's unit setting). These use Garmin's built-in metrics via the Complications API, available on Connect IQ System 5 devices with software version 4.2.0 or newer (newer Forerunner, Fenix, Epix, Venu, Vivoactive and similar). On older models the fields simply show "--". No setup needed — nothing to add to glances or widgets. 1.0.6 - Added two new FieldUp/FieldDown options — "Weather icon + temp (Garmin)" and "Weather icon + temp (OWM)" — showing the weather icon on line 1 and temperature on line 2. 1.0.5 - a new option added - Force background to black — Always use a black background regardless of the selected theme. Other theme colors (rings, text, bars) stay unchanged. Saves battery on AMOLED displays.
