About

YOUR BEZEL BECOMES THE TRACK Start Garmin Track Run and the round edge of your watch becomes a live 400 m virtual track. It begins at the 4:30 position and fills counterclockwise as you run, so your position and progress are visible without changing screens. The bezel is divided into four unmistakable 100 m sections: • Right quarter — first 100 m • Top quarter — second 100 m • Left quarter — third 100 m • Bottom quarter — final 100 m At every 100 m crossing, that section's time locks onto the bezel as a plain number of seconds: 24, 25, 26. Each value now sits inside a high-contrast outlined badge, while the live green gauge and white position marker show how the current section is unfolding. When you return to the start after 400 m, the full lap time is added below the main timer as LAP 1. The three most recent completed laps remain on screen, newest first. Lap number, total seconds and pace use enlarged, clearly separated columns for fast reading while running. At that finish line, a large lap result takes over the screen for 5 seconds, showing the lap number, total seconds, finish-line heart rate and pace. A Garmin lap tone and double vibration make the crossing unmistakable when sound and vibration are enabled on the watch. MORE REASONS TO RUN WITH IT • Total seconds stay total seconds — 80, 81, 125 — never 1:20 or 2:05. • Garmin Auto Lap is optional for the on-screen history. The field anchors the activity start location and adds its own LAP 1, LAP 2 and later 400 m laps. • If Garmin Auto Lap is also enabled, the app's own 400 m boundary remains the source for its history. The native event cannot reset the app clock or create a duplicate row, and the app result is replayed after Garmin's native overlay closes. • App-defined 400 m seconds, lap number, pace and every 100 m split are saved as Connect IQ FIT metrics. Garmin Connect can show these as custom activity data, and the exported FIT file retains the exact values. • Every completed 400 m lap includes a 1 km equivalent pace for quick comparison. • Heart rate and cadence remain visible on the same screen. • Compact and full layouts support a wide range of Forerunner displays. Track-aware timing: At activity start, the field saves the current location as its 400 m start/finish point. On the first lap it uses the location and distance supplied by Garmin Track Run to learn the remaining 100 m points. On following laps it combines those learned positions with track distance to confirm each split. All processing happens on the watch. The app does not upload data itself; its custom lap and split metrics are stored inside the Garmin activity FIT file and follow the normal Garmin sync and retention flow. Setup: 1. Install Track Lap by Hogun. 2. Open Track Run settings on your watch. 3. Add a one-field/full-screen data page. 4. Select Track Lap by Hogun from Connect IQ Fields. 5. Allow location access when requested. Recommended: set Garmin Auto Lap to 400 m if you also want standard Garmin lap rows in the saved activity. Auto Lap is not required for this field's own on-screen history. Designed specifically for a standard 400 m track. For best results, use Garmin Track Run and complete the first lap normally so the split positions can be learned.

What's new

Version 1.0.6 — Enlarged current and completed lap values for faster reading. The watch now shows the three most recent laps with tighter spacing and clearer lap/seconds/pace columns. Every 100 m split is displayed in a high-contrast outlined badge. The running screen removes the SECONDS/SEC label. The 5-second completion popup now includes lap number, total seconds, finish-line heart rate and pace. Layouts are tuned separately for 208 px, 240 px and large AMOLED displays. FIT data still preserves the last five completed lap seconds.
