This is a widget and, as such, the watch face will be shown after a period of inactivity. There is no way to avoid it or extend the duration that widgets stay open. Two main reasons: 1) CIQ Limitations. The Connect IQ environment doesn't allow apps to use a lot of memory. This constraint is especially tight on older devices. So we split the functionalities into different apps. On some apps you get map images (Maps r.485, Maps + Activity). Other apps show more information and/or allow more customisation (Outdoor Master, Route Planner). 2) Offer navigation features in different app types (Applications, Widgets and Data Fields). Some users prefer to use native apps to record activities. So they can plan routes using r.485 data fields (Route Data Field / Waypoints). Some watches also allow you to access widgets while an app is open. So these users can also use r.485 widgets (Directions Widget, Maps Widget, My Places - Widget). ____ To enter coordinates: "type" the latitude and the longitude (in degrees) digit by digit, separated by a semicolon. Negative numbers are allowed. Both latitude and longitude must contain decimal digits and be between -90.000 and +90.000 (longitude) or -180.000 and +180.000 (longitude). When you finish "typing" the longitude, choose the option * END *. Examples: To enter N 48.858, E 2.294, the input should be "48.858;2.294". Select * END * to finish. To enter N 40.689, W 74.045, the input should be "40.689;-74.045".
