About

PLEASE READ ENTIRE DESCRIPTION FOR HOW TO ADD AND CONFIGURE THIS DATA FIELD Watch the glass fill up as you track the number of beers you’ve earned during your workout! Rather than just seeing a number, feel your anticipation of a cold one rise along with the fill level of the mug! === BUY ME A BEER === This data field is 100% free to use with no restrictions. But if you appreciate the work and care to drop a bill my way, https://paypal.me/claytonf or https://cash.app/$Clayton === HOW TO ADD THIS TO YOUR DATA FIELDS FOR A WORKOUT === To use Connect IQ Data fields, you must manually ADD it to one of your activity data screens, it won't show up automatically. It varies from device to device, but it's usually under "Edit Screens" or "data screens" and then you replace or add one of the existing fields. On the Fenix 3 devices, go to Settings | Apps | [app name] | Data Screens, then there are numbered data screens, and you dig into one of those to replace one of the fields. === HOW TO CUSTOMIZE CALORIES AND BEER STYLE === Garmin Connect Mobile Illustrated in this image: https://www.dropbox.com/s/j8fz20g2w94hcrj/BeersEarned-how_to_configure.png Or an example of how to add/configure data fields on a your device: https://www.youtube.com/user/garminblog/search?query=data+fields In Garmin Connect Mobile, select your device, then go to Device / Connect IQ Apps / Data Fields / Beers Earned Plus / Settings) Also configurable from Garmin Express on computers, via a similar path. Select from three beer styles – Amber/Lager, Red Ale, or Stout/Porter. Choose white or black for background (Stout beer will only use white for background). Number of calories per beer can be configured, but defaults to 150 calories (16 oz of an average craft ale, or 12 oz of a heavier beer). I only have a Venu 2 Plus to test with, so if you have issues, use the "Contact Developer" button to provide me details in hopes that I can fix them. === VERSION HISTORY === 2.5 - 2.7.4 - adding support for various devices 2.4.1 - Restored the "Background Color" setting (initial setting is "Device Default") 2.4 - Significant updates to make the mug and numbers draw larger and more appropriate to all devices and data field locations, leaner and more efficient code 2.3 - Rewrote code which draws the beer glass to scale better for different devices 2.0 - Added Vibration and Tone alerts after each beer earned (can be disabled in settings).
