RASTER · Swiss Grid Watch Face

Typographic, multilingual, grid-based. A simple, clear Garmin watch face built on a grid. Large hours and minutes at the centre; date, weather and two configurable data fields in fixed positions around them. RASTER takes its name from Josef Müller-Brockmann's Rastersysteme: the Swiss typography grid systems of the 1960s. A Helvetica-inspired typeface, generous size, tight alignment. Features: - Large HH:MM display, with optional accent colour on the minutes - Two configurable data fields — heart rate, battery, steps, calories, floors climbed, intensity minutes, stress, recovery time, sunrise/sunset, weekly cycling, weekly running, VO₂ Max, Sleep Score* - Current temperature, weather condition and icon** - Date in the system's own language and format - Five accent colours: red, blue, amber, green, yellow - Light Mode and Dark Mode - Always-On display (AOD) matched to the main face, switching to a dark palette in Light Mode to protect the screen and battery - Charging indicator - Available in English, Spanish, German, French, Italian, Czech, Polish and Portuguese Built and tested on-device for both AMOLED and Memory-In-Pixel screens. Layouts are drawn per display type, not scaled - MIP devices get a build tuned for their resolution and colour depth. For Fenix, Forerunner, Enduro and Venu, including Fenix 8, Fenix 7X, Forerunner 970 and Enduro 3. *Sleep Score requires a watch running Connect IQ 6.0.2 or later. On watches without it, the option is hidden rather than shown empty. ** Weather requires a paired phone with the Garmin Connect app. Conditions and temperature come from the watch's cached weather and refresh when the watch syncs.
