Data field that offers an analogue speedometer and several of the most used fields like speed, time, timer, altitude and temperature. Some of the fields are configurable (with Garmin Express or the Garmin Connect app) . On the Edge 1000 and 1030 there are three rows of data under the speedometer. All of the rows are configurable. On the Edge 530, 830, 520 and 820 there are two configurable rows. This field should be used on a datascreen with exactly 1 data field. If you don't see this field after selecting it, try rebooting the Edge. To use this datafield go to Settings - Activity profiles - [your profile] - Data screens Create an new data screen with 1 field or reduce an existing data screen to 1 field. Choose Connect IQ from the list of data fields - choose EdgeDashboard. The colour of the halo surrounding the speedometer shows the heart rate zone you're in. The blue dot marks the average speed and the orange dot marks the maximum speed on the analogue speedometer. To configure the fields do the following with Garmin Connect Mobile on Android: Open the Garmin Connect Mobile App. (The Edge should be on and connected to the phone.) Tip the icon with three bars in the upper left corner. Choose Garmin devices and choose your device. Select Manage Activities and Data fields then choose Data fields. Select the field you want to change and choose settings. You can now change the datafields for the rows. After applying the changes choose OK, synchronize the Edge and reboot it. This app requires access to: "Run in the background when it is not active (potentially affecting battery life)" - This is because the app starts a background process to retrieve the current temperature (every 5 minutes), this is the current way to read the temperature from the sensor. The field needs access to your location to calculate solar events.
