Phases of Day — Inaccurate Clock

Phases of Day is an "inaccurate clock" for AMOLED Garmin watches. Instead of shouting the exact time, it names the part of the day in one bold word — DAWN, MORNING, DAY, EVENING, DUSK, NIGHT — and keeps the precise 24-hour time small and quiet up top. A segmented ring around the rim traces the whole day cycle; the current phase glows in cyan, so you read where you are in the day at a glance.
