Real-time wave and tide conditions for the Wide Bay region, Queensland - built for divers, sailors, surfers and water users who want accurate conditions on their wrist before heading out.
Wave data is pulled from the Queensland Wide Bay offshore wave buoy (site 4581) and refreshed each time you open the widget. Navigate through five pages with UP/DOWN:
• Wave Height: Significant wave height in metres, 72-hour trend graph
• Wave Period: Peak energy period in seconds, 72-hour graph
• Wave Direction: Compass bearing showing where waves are travelling, 72-hour direction graph
• Sea Surface Temp: Temperature in °C, 72-hour graph
• Tide: Current tide height, rising/falling indicator, and a 36-hour cosine curve anchored to real BOM tide predictions for Elbow Point (QLD_TP151). Next two high and two low times are shown above and below the graph.
