**Important**: Google has deprecated the method used to connect to Google tasks. This app is no longer expected to work after October 3, 2022. Task lists can be viewed and tasks can be marked as done for easy access on the go without pulling out your phone. Instructions for setup (see http://mspells.me/software/synctasks-garmin/ for an illustration): 1. When opening the app for the first time on the wearable, it will request a validation code from Google by opening a webpage on your phone. Accept the ConnectIQ notification to open the webpage the app requests in your browser. 2. After agreeing to grant the app access to your Google task lists in the browser window, a code will be displayed. Copy and paste this code into the settings for the app. 3. The wearable app should now be able to properly access your Google tasks. Enjoy! Please note that I am unable to test most aspects of this app using the emulator, so compatibility with other devices may not be totally smooth. Option description: - API Code: This is the access code provided by the Google authentication process described above. - Task Sort Type: None to disable sorting by tasks (and make task loading slightly faster), User to order tasks by their display order in other apps. - Show completed tasks: Show tasks that have been completed (checked off) when a task list is loaded. Tasks can always still be checked and un-checked while a task list is open. - Show hidden tasks: Show tasks that have been hidden (i.e. "marked as done") when a task list is loaded. Caveats: - If the app gets stuck on any errors, it will display an error screen with a code and description, then re-run the authentication process after a few seconds. - Clearing the API token in the settings and re-running authentication may fix errors you encounter.
