About

♫ Turn your smartwatch into a music visualizer and give yourself another reason to be active! ♫ To start using the app, turn on a song and tap the screen 12 times along with the beat. (Make sure to touch the screen for more than an instant so that the input registers.) Once you have set up the rhythm, simply start dancing to change the color on screen. Depending on which direction the device is rotated, a different color will be added to the current one- red is the X-axis (screen sideways), green is the Y-axis (screen forwards), and blue is the Z-axis (screen up). More drastic rotations will lead to stronger colors, while keeping the device still will cause the color to fade away. When a new song comes on, just tap the screen again to enter the new beat. Enjoy at a concert or in your bedroom slippers! Notes & Tips: ♫ Because the app can only measure the time in seconds, often using slower beats or tapping on every other beat works better for calculating the rhythm. ♫ Color Groove registers the beat when your finger stops touching the screen. This means you have to tap for long enough that starting and stopping are entered separately. ♫ If you don't get the correct beat the first time, just finish the 12 beats then start tapping again. ♫ To save battery, the app only measures the rotation on the beat. ♫ Color Groove is easy to pick up, yet hard to master. ♫ Support for the Fenix 3 and other Connect IQ watches without a touch screen coming soon.
