Jaktli
· v1.3.1
About
See your dogs around you on a compass radar — direction, distance, and status
(moving / on point / treed) — decoded live from your dog-tracking handheld's
ANT+ broadcast. On watches with built-in maps, press Up or Down to switch to a
map view that places the same colour-coded dots right on the terrain.
Jaktli relays each collar's position to the Jaktli app on your phone too, so
your whole hunting team sees the dogs on the live map.
• Compass radar — heading-up, centred on you, with distance rings
• All your dogs at once, shown by name
• Map view on watches with onboard maps — your dogs on the terrain
• Colour-coded status: moving, on point, treed
• Low-battery and lost-signal indicators
• No watch GPS needed — it uses the direction and distance your handheld
already broadcasts, so watch battery is spared
Requires the Jaktli app on your phone and a compatible ANT+ dog-tracking
handheld and collars. Do not pair the collars to this watch's built-in dog
tracking at the same time — run one or the other.
What's new
New in this version
* The app no longer goes quiet: if a message to the phone was lost, the app used to stop sending altogether until the watch was restarted. The radar kept showing the dogs, so nothing looked wrong. It now recovers by itself after a few seconds.
* Right dogs, right handheld: if the watch loses your handheld and picks up another one nearby, it now forgets the old handheld's dogs instead of mixing the two. Dogs no longer appear under another dog's name.
