You can define a minimum and a maximum heartrate values within Garmin Express / Garmin Connect mobile, and the application will ring if your heartrate goes beyond these limits. That is why it displays a watchface, that you can change with the down button (2 options: a digital and analog display). You can also use the up-button to display the daily statistics, and push the button again to check the values you defined for the heartrate limits.
