HengShi V2C

HengShi V2C brings time, weather, device status, and a health overview together in a clear, information-dense Chinese AMOLED watch face. Displayed information: • 24-hour time, date, weekday, Chinese lunar calendar, traditional festivals, and festival countdowns • Next sunrise or sunset and daylight progress, with the current position shown by a brighter, longer tick • Battery percentage, estimated remaining days, notification count, phone connection, and ring/Do Not Disturb status • Current weather, temperature, feels-like temperature, and +2/+4/+6-hour forecast icons and temperatures • Today's chance of precipitation, wind speed and direction, and altitude • Heart rate, stress, and the most recently available Pulse Ox value Weather comes from the most recently synchronized Garmin weather cache and may be delayed by phone connectivity, location, or synchronization. Each +2/+4/+6-hour slot uses the nearest available hourly forecast and displays its actual local hour. If only one solar-event endpoint is available, the watch face locally uses the observation location already present in the weather cache to calculate the missing sunrise or sunset event. It does not save or upload that location and does not activate GPS. Heart rate, stress, Pulse Ox, altitude, and solar-event data are read from device complications when available. Health information is provided only for general wellness viewing and is not intended for diagnosis, treatment, or emergency decisions. Missing cached or complication data is shown as “--”. The Always-On Display layout uses a black background, fewer elements, and dimmer text. The watch face does not actively start GPS, heart rate, Pulse Ox, or other sensors, and does not make background network connections. Compatibility: This release uses Garmin's shared Connect IQ target fenix847mm, covering fēnix 8, tactix 8, and quatix 8 AMOLED models in 47 mm and 51 mm sizes with 454 × 454 displays. Layout and simulator validation used this shared target, with fēnix 8 47 mm as the design baseline. The six models have not each been independently tested on physical hardware. Not compatible with fēnix 8 43 mm, fēnix 8 Solar, fēnix 8 Pro/MicroLED, quatix 8 Pro, tactix 8 Solar, or models outside this shared target. Fixed an issue where the phone connection icon could remain stale when the phone disconnected or reconnected while the watch face stayed awake. Connection, notification, and Do Not Disturb states now respond to system events; if firmware omits a connection event, a lightweight phone-only check runs every three seconds while the display is awake. Also removed an unnecessary graphics-context access during cached-frame submission, with no visual or existing data-cadence changes.
