The Aeronaut

No matter if you are piloting a 747 long distance from LAX to MEL - or just your singlespeeder to the next coffee shop - the Aeronaut has got you covered. The coffe shop may not be in a different timezone, but your desintaion - or girlfriend - may be... dosen't matter - trust the Aeronaut. Please read the full description of the watchface on how to unlock the extended settings before posting a mixed or negative review that settings don't work! -------------------------------------- The Aeronaut combines classic aerospace instrument design with digital multi-purpose display, put your personal cockpit on your wrist! | The following features are available (marked with a * are features that have to be unlocked): - Different watchface designs (more to come) - Different hand designs (more to come) - Step counter display - Sunset/Sunrise times, depending on location*** - Notification markers (BT connection [C], message pending [M], Alarm set [A]) - 2nd hour hand, adjustable timezone (UTC +/-) - see IMPORTANT details below - digital display (time and date) of separately adjustable second timezone (UTC +/-) - see IMPORTANT details below - 4 digital multi-purpose displays (2 lines each: day, date, steps, notifications, sunrise, sunset, battery%, move bar) - Tactical/Nightmode: All display elements in shades of red or green* - Battery marker on the outer ring of the display (3'=75%, 6'=50%, 9' =25%...) | Exclusive unlock-only features: - All colors completely configureable! - ALL FOUR dual line multi purpose LCD displays can be configured (the ones with a frame around in the Custom design 1 watchface), the contents can be selected. Currently available: # Date # Weekday # Steps # Steps left for goal # UTC adj. time # UTC adj. date # Empty # Battery % # Time # Move bar # Sunrise*** # Sunset*** # Notifications # Altitude (from last gps fix, not real time!)*** # Daily walked distance - Planned data fields: # Pressure # Heartrate (without breaking non-HR devices) # What else do you want? | - Tactical mode in green | IMPORTANT: - The LCD data field customisations work only on the "Custom 1" watchface, not with the "Claudius"! - The Second hand is only visible for ~8 seconds, that's no bug but a Garmin limitation to save power! - The values marked with *** need a previous GPS fix. So, if you don't have data shown there, e.g. after a reboot, just activate GPS long enough to get a fix, then everything should be fine. - Setting a negative UTC offset seems to be tricky, I don't know if it is a bug or a feature by Garmin, but it looks like you can't just enter negative values. 2023-07-10: Since my watchfaces are no longer actively developed, I'm making all customisation features now available for free. Please use the following passwords to unlock everything: - Fliegeruhr: fhtagn! - The One: iddqd - The Aeronaut: 747-400 - The Qo'nos: qapla Feel free to tip me a coffee via Paypal if you like my work :-) 2017-01-12: It is now possible to add an additional offset (15, 30 or 45 minutes) to the UTC offset for odd timezones in e.g. India or Australia. Only possible for digital time!. And the "empty" setting is now working properly. 2017-01-08: Finally, Heart rate is now also selectable as a data field! And the hands from Qo'noS watch face are now selectable! (Select main color to TRANSPARENT and contour to BLACK for best results) 2016-12-30: Now the altitude can be selected either in meter or feet, independent of general unit setting 2016-12-01: New Option to disable second hand (It is anyway only visible for 8 seconds due to Garmin limitations) 2016-09-26: Day names fixed for 'Claudius' watch face, improved unlock code recognition 2016-09-25: - New alternative watchface configuration: no frame, bigger numbers (please contact me if you find any problems, missing characters, etc.)! - Weekday fix (local time instead of UTC), red ticks color fixed, swedish/danish Å and Ø should be fixed (replaced by A and O, feedback appreciated) 2016-09-23: - Watchface foreground color (minute ticks, etc.) is now also configureable! - Some code improvements 2016-09-21: - And the deveoper spake: "Let there be height!".
