Weather Radar App - w/Free 21 Day Trial

This application is based on the Weather Radar Widget version 4.33, and can display the current rain radar on your devices screen based on your current location from either AerisWeather or RainViewer. Since this is version is a full CIQ application, it will support full screen images on all devices and does not timeout like the widget does. Because the app does not time out, the radar will automatically refresh every 5 minutes. This version can support animated radar on more devices than the widget version. Every new device install will get a free 21 day full function trial to make sure the widget will work on your device and in your area. This is a registered app and requires a nominal ($3USD) annual subscription to operate once the trial is complete. This app and the Weather Radar Widget share a common subscription, so if you register for one, you can install and use either or both on your devices. The app does require a connection to your phone and is dependent on a connection to the internet and being able to get a radar image location. The app also requires GPS for at least the first use so it is best to run while outside the first time, then you can save your position for future use. Satellite images have global coverage. Use the settings to pick your data source and image type if using AerisWeather. RainViewer Provides coverage over most of the world but limited coverage in Africa. Chances are if you don't have coverage in your area with at least RainViewer, then there is not coverage available in your area. Privacy notice: While this app uses your device position and communicates with the internet in order to retrieve a relevant radar image for your view, none of the information generated is saved by the application. This widget makes use of an application specific unique identifier and information on the device type in order to facilitate a trial/paid subscription service. All device information collected is only used to validate application subscription status.
