UltraTimes Data Field
· v1.4.0
About
This is a Data Field designed to make it very clear how you're doing with regard to your pacing on ultra runs.
Usage:
- Add as a Data Field to your activity.
- In the settings you'll need a "Race Definition" and a "User Definition" (See below)
- During the event, have a look at the data field to see how you're doing.
* Settings:
- Race Definition: This is a coded text string which defines the start day, the start time and the maximum time of the race, and then each checkpoint (distance, name and optional cutoff).
- User Definition: This is the list of target times that you're aiming to get to the aid stations at.
- Check Mode: shows the interpreted data in the data field - use this to check that you have all the settings correct.
Have a look at http://www.reikan.co.uk/ciq/ultratimes/index.html for further details and a way of creating your data.
I wrote one of these for the South Downs Way 100 a while back that was specific for that race - this version is more flexible and allows you to define any run. It's early days for this data field - feedback would be appreciated!
What's new
1.4.0
Added support for Fenix 7 series watches and Forerunner 945
1.3.0
It's been a while since any updates to this, but I'm resurrecting it for a race I've got in a couple of weeks. I've trapped a few setup errors to give better information to you if you get some of the definition stuff wrong, and it's built with the latest SDK. Expect a few more updates over the next week or so as I test and improve.
1.2.0
- Added support for Fenix 6 series
1.1.5:
- Fix a crash that happened if time passed the finish target time.
1.1.2:
- Dynamically update data field when settings are changed (start time and start day)
1.1.0:
- Improved error checking, display of check data and display of checkpoint data
- Data Field settings now allow setting of race start day and time of day for more flexibility on race day
- YOU WILL NEED TO REGENERATE THE RACE DEFINITION (User Definition hasn't changed)
