Mobcards – Loyalty cards

Mobcards allows to keep all loyalty and membership cards or tickets in one watch app. Now you don’t have to look for a card in your wallet when you do shopping or want to enter a cinema or the office. Just put all cards to your phone and transfer them to Mobcards installed on your Garmin watch. HOW TO USE? At first install companion app Mobcards on your phone or tablet. Download the app from Play Store here: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=pl.mobimax.cards Launch Mobcards on phone, scan your loyalty or membership cards or create new ones. ### CHOOSE DELIVERY CHANNEL TO TRANSFER CARDS TO WATCH APP ### You can choose between Bluetooth (local) channel and via Internet (proxy server). Launch Mobcards on watch and after that open Watch view on phone app. BLUETOOTH CHANNEL - local communication: After establishing the connection phone ↔ watch, transfer all or selected cards to your watch app. INTERNET CHANNEL - using proxy server: This channel upload selected cards to proxy server. User gets a token what must put in Settings on mobile app Garmin Connect IQ store. Watch app downloads cards with the token passed into Settings. It it the quickest and recommended way to transfer cards on the watch. User must enable this channel on Mobcards page / Settings in Garmin Connect IQ store. You can enable this channel in Settings on Mobcards page in Connect IQ apps store. If you do not want to keep your cards on proxy server click 'Delete cards' button to delete all cards. iOS / IPHONE USERS Companion app for mobile device so far supports Android devices. User with iOS system can use friendly Android device to upload theirs cards with delivery channel via Internet. Then remember your token for further usage. Use option 'Save token'. After that you don't need any phone until you decide to add new cards. Then put your token in settings on mobile app as backup token. NAVIGATION Swipe up/down to change card or press buttons UP/DOWN. DELETE CARD Click in the centre of the barcode or press SET button to open confirmation view to delete current card. INFOS Click the top part of the screen to show full card name. Click the left part of the screen to show full barcode value Click the right part of the screen to show only barcode on white background. Phone app allows to choose sorting method on watch app. For example: the last used cards are shown at start. Mobcards supports both 1D and 2D barcodes like QR or AZTEC. The app supports touch screens and watches with only hardware buttons. PLEASE NOTE: 1. Due to limited size of watch display, very long barcodes are not sent to watch app. They wouldn’t be enough readable by scanners. 2. [Bluetooth channel] To connect phone app and watch app make sure your watch is paired and connected to your phone. You can check connection state in Garmin Connect application. If you have connection problems, go to Mobcards settings on your phone and enable option ‘Show Garmin IQ messages’. It can help to find a problem. VERY IMPORTANT: Sometimes connection watch-phone is not stable or even not available. We recommend then to restart watch or phone for a moment. It restarts Garmin communication engine or use delivery channel via Internet. 3. [Internet channel] In this mode you don't need to wait for finding Garmin watch. Just select cards and click Send. NOTE: the mobile app don't know your watch screen size. It uses default value (240). Open settings on mobile app and select correct screen size for your Garmin watch. Watches with a bigger display can show more complex barcodes. If your Garmin watch is not supported let us know. We will add it at next upgrade.
