About

**PLEASE READ IF YOU WANT TO DISABLE THE THIRD "GHOST" HAND:** That hand is the "home time" zone and is designed to show up if you travel across time zones, so you can see what your "home" time is. It's set by default to US Pacific, but can be changed to whatever your home time is. To disable it, or change the time, us the Garmin Connect app on your iPhone or Android and connect to your watch. Once you’re in there, you should be able to find the watch’s installed “ConnectIQ” apps and watch faces. Tap into the Mechano watch face, and it should show you all the different options you can select, including disabling or changing the hour settings. Description: Mechano is a clean, readable, analog watch face with some configurable modern enhancements. This is a personal side project that I decided make public, so there very well may be bugs or features that don't quite work as intended. Please have patience, and I'll try my best to address any bugs. Hope you enjoy! UPDATE: There's a known issue with the sunrise/sunset times not updating to reflect the local timezone if you are traveling. This is possibly related to GPS location needing to be updated (it is not regularly updated in watch mode due to power settings. See the update below). Features: - High-contrast, sword-style watch hands for visibility (+ two other configurable hand styles) - Step counter with progress meter, OR altitude (left side) - Battery meter (right side) - Moon phase indicator (12 o' clock) - Notifications are displayed on top of the moon phase (note: the notifications are intentionally displayed on top of the watch hands for maximum visibility) - "Home time" zone: set your time zone offset, and a second hour hand will be displayed once you enter another time zone (can be configured via Garmin Connect Mobile or Garmin Express, as well as turned on/off) - AM/PM indicator dot in the center shows AM/PM for your home time zone - Sunrise/sunset times based on your location (if available) - Alarm on/off indicator - Bluetooth connected icon - Day/date - Individual minutes are highlighted around the chapter ring for readability - Special hashmark layout for semi-round (Forerunner) screens; the tops and bottoms aren't just chopped off NOTE ABOUT SUNSET/SUNRISE TIMES: the system only updates sunset/sunrise if there's been recent GPS activity. If you're traveling and the sunset times look weird, start an activity to update your watch's location (you can cancel it afterwards) and it should update to your local time. This update hides the time if you've traveled across time zones, UNTIL your location has been updated, to avoid showing incorrect times.

What's new

** April 9, 2017: Sorry for the long hiatus. I'll try to update more frequently, and add a few new features as well as resolve some outstanding bugs. v1.2.9: - Two additional hand styles (Dauphine and Baton) - Adjustable hand length (long and short) v1.2.8: - Added a few different options for a second hand, as well as fixing a bug where the second hand wouldn’t disappear when “low power” mode is entered. - Slightly larger notification count for bigger displays (Fenix, etc.) to avoid cramping of the font v1.2.6: Minor update: - Added support for the Fenix 5 series (including optional, low-profile seconds indicator around the outside). Please note that the seconds hand is still subject to power savings (even on Fenix models, I believe) and will disappear after a few seconds. Not sure if this has been changed recently, but I'll keep looking. - Adding a setting to allow for the moonphase to be reversed (for the Southern Hemisphere). Sorry, friends below the equator! This is in Settings rather than using location, in case GPS info is not available.
