About

Kerfstok has three functions: • Enter and view numbers. These numbers can also be seen in the companion app (Juggluco) and numbers entered in Juggluco are displayed in Kerfstok; • Display your current glucose received from Juggluco via Bluetooth. Juggluco can receive glucose values from Sibionics GS1, Dexcom G7/ONE+ and Freestyle Libre 2, 2+, 3 and 3+ sensors. Kerfstok has a Watch Face like screen showing the time, date, battery level, and glucose level (+ change arrow) and heart rate; • An activity screen. Here you can select from all sports and sub-sports of Garmins health SDK. During the activity a screen is shown with speed, distance traveled, glucose level, heart rate and the time. The activity is also recorded and can be viewed afterward in Garmin's Connect app. A watch app like Kerfstok is the only way to see your current glucose level during an activity while also viewing activity metrics and record the activity. Other ways like data fields only update the glucose value every 5 minutes. Kerfstok shows the glucose level every minute immediately when it is available. Kerfstok can only be used on Garmin watches that allow third party apps. Starting with Kerfstok 1.6.0 it also runs on watches without touchscreen. Navigation on TOUCHSCREEN watches: You press on what you want to select, page by swiping up and down and go back and undo by swiping to the right. The button is needed to stop the recording of an activity (and some watches use a back button.) Navigation on watches with 5 KEYS: • Up/Down Key: move selection • Enter Key: take selected action/agree/(start/stop) sport recording • Back Key: back/delete/return/disagree • Menu Key/Long press Up: used only in number dial to get a menu of options. See https://www.juggluco.nl/Kerfstok for more information.
