About
Sparmin — Spa & Thermal Session Logger
Turn a sauna, bathhouse or thermal spa visit into a proper Garmin activity. Sparmin records your whole session as a FIT activity and times every place you spend time separately — each sauna, steam room, cold plunge, hydro pool or lounger — so you finish with a clear per-activity breakdown instead of one shapeless block of time.
How it works
Open the app when you arrive and tap the activity you're starting. Sparmin begins timing it and shows your live heart rate. Move to the next spot and tap it — the app switches automatically, with no gap. Step out between activities and it tracks that as transition time too. When you're done, stop the session to see a summary: total time, plus the time, visit count and heart rate for each activity, and your total transition time. The whole visit is saved to Garmin Connect as an activity.
Features
- Records your whole visit as a Garmin activity, timing each spot separately (sauna, cold plunge, steam room, hydro pool, loungers and more).
- Live heart rate during the session, plus average and maximum heart rate for every activity in the summary.
- Automatic, zero-gap switching when you move from one activity to the next, with separate transition timing in between.
- End-of-session summary on the watch with a per-activity breakdown.
- Customise your list: show, hide and reorder the activities you actually use, so the ones you visit are front and centre.
- Adapts to your watch — round or rectangular, touchscreen or buttons.
Water-safe touch (touchscreen watches)
Spa screens get wet, and warm droplets on a touchscreen can fire off taps you never made — enough to start or switch an activity by accident. Sparmin has an optional Water-safe touch mode for this. Turn it on in Settings and two things change:
- Selecting an activity (or confirming the end of a session) needs a deliberate double tap of the same tile, so a stray droplet tap is ignored.
- A touch-lock lets you disable the screen entirely for a full soak; the app shows a padlock while locked, and the physical Stop button still works, so you can always end the session even with the touchscreen off.
It's off by default, so nothing changes unless you want it. On button watches there's nothing to enable — the buttons are already splash-proof.
