About

Strong, crisp watch face that closely mimics the Air Stryk II Military Special Ops watch. Important Note regarding “always on second hand”. I have been asked by several people to implement an always on second had for this watch face for watches that support the functionality. Please note that I am willing to work smart and hard to make this happen; however, with the extremely limited power budget for partial updates (which is the technique used to implement always on second hands), I would have to limit functionality, second hand size, etc. In lieu of this, I have created an “App” that provides always on second had for watches regardless of their support of partial updates. Here it is if you’re interested: https://apps.garmin.com/en-US/apps/79227888-6d19-4a6a-8c91-ebe263a60597. The App version contains a few additional data fields that update continuously. Please do not post a negative review due to a bug until you give me the opportunity to correct it, please. Please click the “Contact Developer” link under Additional Information, and I will respond quickly. Our designs are ranked based on reviews, and unnecessary poor reviews limit our exposure and effectiveness in continued development. Otherwise, if you just do not like the app, then feel free to rate away :) This app is fully functional, but donations are greatly appreciated! If you desire to donate, please send to: https://www.paypal.me/tonybusa. *** Features: - Multiple options for top and bottom digital displays - Ability to change colors of hand tips and hash marks - Ability to use time offset for digital clock display for second time zone (always in military time, since this is a Special Ops inspired watch face). - Three arcs, which show battery (red), steps to step goal (green), and calories burned to calorie goal (yellow). Must set daily goal for calories to burn (in kCal) in the ConnectIQ mobile app. When a goal hits 100%, it is removed from the arc and an indicator (in the appropriate color) is displayed above the top digital display. * How the arcs work: if steps is at 75%, calories at 50%, and battery at 25%, you would see red from 12 o’clock to 3 o’clock (representing one-quarter, or 25%). Beyond that you would see yellow from 3 o’clock to 6 o’clock (representing one-half, or 50%--imagine the “yellow” running under the red, so it is actually form 12 o’clock to 6 o’clock). Finally, you would see green from 6 o’clock to 9 o’clock (representing three-quarters, or 75%). Credits: A sincere "thank you" to the developers of the examples in the Garmin ConnectIQ SDK. Specifically, the Analog example. Credits to travis.vitek (Master member on ConnectIQ developer forum). I copied directly from him with just one minor mod: rotated given angle 90 degrees. Easier for me to work with clock orientation this way.

What's new

V1.1.2 - Additional features (please note, I am currently working on supporting always-on second hand): * Added multiple customized features via ConnectIQ mobile app. * updated UI significantly V1.02 - Always showing military time in digital section (since this is a Special Ops-themed watch face). Also, now display battery percentage instead of seconds in digital display when in low-power mode. Corrected Steps arc if greater than 100%. V1.00 - Initial release.
