About

A digital watch face in charcoal and red, with the club crest at the top and the readouts in the two colours it is drawn in. The clock carries no colon and no longer needs one. The hour and the minute sit one above the other, stepped across the dial and set in a bold italic — the hour in pale yellow, the minute in the crest's yellow, each over its own shadow. Colour is what tells them apart. The date stands down the left-hand side in two lines: the day and the month above, the weekday below. The date and the charge are set in that same yellow. Your calories and your steps are in the club's red, and so is the ring round the outside — because that ring is your step goal, and it belongs with the numbers it counts. At the right-hand edge, the battery as five dots and a reading. When it falls to a fifth, the last dot and the number both turn red. TWO LAYOUTS, ONE FACE Stacked is what it opens with — the clock described above. Classic is the face as it was: one line across the middle, the hour set hairline and the minutes a weight heavier, with the date up under the badge and split either side of the line where the two halves of the dial meet. Two settings, in Garmin Connect. TWO DIALS, ONE FACE Choose what sits at the top: the club crest, or the devil. The crest is what it opens with, and everything else on the dial is the same either way. WHAT IT SHOWS • Hours and minutes, 12- or 24-hour • Weekday, day of the month and month • Calories burned • Steps taken • Step goal, as a ring around the dial • Battery level, with a low warning ON THE WRIST The always-on display keeps the clock and drops everything else — dimmed, and drifting a few pixels each minute so no pixel carries a stroke for long. Nothing else to set up. Install it, choose it, and it is the face. A football (soccer) watch face for Manchester United supporters — Man Utd, the Red Devils, Old Trafford. Built for round AMOLED watches.
