About

How much time have you banked? Pace Bank shows one big, color-coded number during your run: the time you are ahead (+) or behind (−) your race plan at your current distance. Green means you have time in the bank, red means you owe. Under 10 minutes it shows minutes and seconds; past 10 minutes, just the minutes — because by then the seconds don't matter that much. BUILT FOR REAL ULTRA RACE PLANS A single average pace is useless over a long ultra race — you slow down, and a good plan accounts for it. Pace Bank builds your plan from four numbers: - Goal distance (km) - Goal time (hours + minutes) - Start pace (the pace you'll actually run the first lap, min + sec per km — optional, leave 0:00 to pace evenly at your average) - Lap / step size (km) - Lap paces ramp linearly from your start pace to a mirrored end pace, so the plan adds up to your goal time exactly, and lap 1 is exactly the pace you entered. Ideal for ultras, (e.g. 24-hour races). WHY NOT JUST PACEPRO? PacePro is excellent for road racing on courses — Pace Bank exists for what it wasn't built for: - One field, one glance: the bank, your overall plan, and the previous/current/next lap pace live together in a single data field you can place next to your other fields on any screen. PacePro shows its pacing on its own dedicated page, and its data isn't available to Connect IQ fields. - Your laps, your rhythm: PacePro splits every kilometre or mile and alerts at each one — fine for a marathon, a lot over 24 hours. Pace Bank plans in the steps you actually think in (5 km, 10 km, anything) and stays silent: it's a glanceable field, not an alarm. - The race clock is the truth: Pace Bank banks against total elapsed time, so stops count — exactly like the results page will. WHAT YOU SEE - The bank: big +/− number, green/red - Your overall plan (distance and goal time) - Required pace for the previous, current, and next lap - Honest banking: The bank uses total elapsed time — aid-station stops and breaks count against you, exactly like the race clock does. DETAILS - Black background for AMOLED battery life - Adapts to 1, 2, 3, and 4-field layouts - Shows a clean +0:00 before the activity has data - Configure via Garmin IQ (app settings) - No permissions required; nothing leaves your watch
