Widget Data Send Demo

This is a widget app that demonstrates sending data to another Connect IQ app. This app is to be used with the Widget Data Receive Demo app: https://apps.garmin.com/en-US/apps/57e1d349-0d35-403c-a741-5acc4ed92ad3 and the Watchface Data Communication Demo app: https://apps.garmin.com/en-US/apps/d71d5dc1-6367-4d10-a268-30b06ee0a9b8 Instructions for use: 1. Open the widget settings and copy the User Id setting value. Set the "App to send data to" setting as desired and save the settings. 2. Open the settings for the app to receive data (Widget Data Receive Demo or Watchface Data Communication Demo) and paste the User Id from step 1 into the User Id setting and save. 3. Activate this widget (Widget Data Send Demo) to send a few messages. 4. Activate the app that is to receive the data and see the messages received. Note that the Garmin Connect app must be running on your smartphone, and bluetooth communication enabled for communication between apps to function. # Tags Data communication, data sharing between apps
