Trenago Open Water

Trenago Open Water is a Connect IQ data field for Garmin’s native Open Water activity. It is not a standalone activity-recording app. Start and save your activity using Garmin’s native Open Water profile as usual. The data field adds step-by-step guidance from your Trenago workout. What it shows: - today’s active Trenago Open Water workout, - the current step and total step count, - timed steps and rests with automatic countdowns, - cycle and manual steps advanced with the LAP button, - a preview of the next step, - same-day cached guidance that can continue working when network coverage is weak near the water. Setup: 1. Install Trenago Open Water. 2. Add it as a data field to Garmin’s native Open Water activity profile. 3. Start the Open Water activity and open the Trenago Open Water field. 4. In the Trenago mobile app, go to Settings → Integrations → Garmin Watch → Open Water. 5. Enter the six-digit code displayed on your watch and select “Connect Open Water”. Important: if your workout contains cycle or manual steps, disable Auto Lap in the Garmin Open Water activity profile. On some watches, Auto Lap may advance these steps in the same way as a manual LAP press. Requirements: - a Trenago account, - an active Garmin integration in Trenago, - a Trenago Open Water workout planned for today. Trenago Open Water adds workout guidance to Garmin’s native activity experience. It does not replace Garmin’s activity recording, GPS, or saved activity synchronization.
