An analog orrery for your wrist — the sun at the pivot, the hours in orbit, the moon at its true phase.
A gold sun sits at the pivot. One body laps the inner orbit once every twelve hours; another laps the outer orbit once an hour. Read them the way you read a model of the solar system — position, not digits. The moon rides its own sub-dial at its true phase for the date, drawn from the real synodic month.
TWO CUTS OF THE SAME MECHANISM
• Round — fully concentric. Four data seats in the corners, the day printed large under 12, and the moon on a sub-dial at 6.
• Horizon — the same orrery as a sky dome cut at a horizon line, with the data set in a ground band along the bottom.
FOUR SKIES
• Midnight — deep blue, the default.
• Observatory — dark instrument green.
• Parchment — ink on paper; the one light scheme, tuned for daylight.
• Void — pure black, for maximum AMOLED contrast and minimum burn-in.
AN OUTER RING THAT EARNS ITS PLACE
Pick what the rim annotates:
• Seconds (default) — one gold traveller sweeping the rim, indexed by the sixty minute pips just inside it.
• Comet — the same second told as a body: a gold head with a ten-disc trail fading into the sky behind it.
• Lunation — thirty ticks for the moon's days, with a traveller at its exact age in the cycle.
• Off — a clean rim.
ALWAYS-ON DONE PROPERLY
The standby frame is the orrery as a wire diagram: a sun ring, two arms, two bodies, four batons. It lights 1.3% of the panel — no starfield, no printed matter, no second hand, and a per-minute burn-in drift.
FULLY CUSTOMIZABLE — RIGHT ON YOUR WATCH
• Pick the cut: Round or Horizon
• Pick the sky: Midnight / Observatory / Parchment / Void
• Pick the outer ring: Seconds / Comet / Lunation / Off
• Starfield on or off
• Up to six data fields: heart rate, Body Battery, steps, battery, calories, floors, distance, notifications, active minutes
• 12- or 24-hour time (or follow system)
No phone required to configure — everything lives in the on-device menu.

What's new
New setting — Text size: Normal or Large. The dial is drawn at 454 px and
scales to your watch, so on a smaller screen the labels ran small. Large redraws
the labels, the values and the printed day from a bigger set of glyphs. On the
watch: hold the face → Settings → Text size. Everything else is where it was,
and an existing install keeps every choice it had.
The hour reads in the dark now. The hour body was a gold ring with a dark
core, and on an AMOLED at low brightness that thin ring was the first thing to
go — leaving the minute legible and the hour a guess. It is a solid gold disc
now, and the orbit arms are lifted clear of the sky on Midnight, Observatory and
Void. Parchment is untouched: dark ink on a light ground already read.
Initial release. Two cuts (Round, Horizon), four skies, four outer-ring modes including a comet seconds traveller, a true moon phase, six customizable data fields, on-device settings, and a burn-in-safe always-on wire diagram.
