About

eFoilCrew turns your Garmin into a purpose-built eFoil computer. It is currently an invite-only beta - full features need an eFoilCrew account. Request access at https://www.efoilcrew.com/overview/ What works right away, no account needed: start a session and see what matters at a glance — current speed as a big bold number, your top-2-second speed, average and distance, plus foiling-specific stats the standard activity profiles don't track: time up on foil, longest run, run count, and an on-foil indicator you can read in bright sun. It records a normal activity that syncs to Garmin Connect like any other, so your tracks and speed history live alongside the rest of your training. What unlocks when you connect your account: automatic spot detection, session replay, your personal records at each spot, milestone chasing, and gear tracking - plus every ride uploading to efoilcrew.com automatically. The layout is designed for one-handed, wet, moving use: button-first navigation, a sunlight-readable high-contrast page, and a shape-based foil indicator that doesn't rely on colour. Built by riders, for riders.

What's new

Faster to open. The app launches in about half the time it used to. New pre-ride screens. The watch now opens straight to Ready to Ride, with your spot, GPS status and battery in front of you before you start — and a reorganised settings menu that puts what you need where you'd look for it. Simpler ride screens. The live screens now appear only while you're actually recording, so there's no more guessing whether a ride has started. Cleaner layouts, clearer numbers. Range estimator (beta). Distance home, direction home, estimated range left and the battery you'll need to get back - live on your wrist, with a bearing-home marker on the bezel that changes colour as your margin does. Set your starting battery and reserve, re-anchor mid-ride, and tune the margin dials without touching your phone. Optional turn-back alerts, off by default. Much faster uploads after a ride. Rides now upload back-to-back instead of trickling, and an interrupted upload resumes where it left off rather than starting over. More reliable, more stable. Fixed a crash that could end a recording early, and a case where a ride following a long drive could upload with no runs recorded. Rides the server rejects are now held and retryable instead of lost. Plus lifetime stats - total rides, total time and your day streak right on your wrist.
