About

THIS IS A WATCH FACE, so after installing you MUST select it on your watch: open Settings, then Watch Face, then Connect IQ. Check all my apps: https://apps.mmendelson.com/ Dynamic Hours is an analog watch face. It shows the time using 24 hours instead of 12, so you can always tell 1 AM from 1 PM. One shows as 1, the other shows as 13. There are 12 spots on the dial, like a regular clock. The current hour always shows up at its own spot. If it is 3 in the afternoon, the number 15 shows up at the 3 o'clock spot, bigger and in your chosen color. The other eleven spots show the hours that come next, one at each spot, going clockwise. Once an hour, the numbers all change to the new hour. The minutes show up as a small dot with a number next to it. It goes around the dial once every hour. A thin second hand sweeps from the centre, and you can add up to three complications inside the ring, your choice. Nothing to pair, no account, no password. Every value on the dial comes from your watch's own clock and sensors. === Features === - The 24-hour dial: the current hour at its own clock position, the next eleven counting up clockwise, each one a bit smaller and dimmer than the last. - Three complications you choose yourself: top, left and right. Pick from date, heart rate, steps, calories, distance, active minutes, floors, battery, battery days, temperature, Pulse Ox, Body Battery, stress, respiration, recovery, solar intensity, VO2 max and notifications. Only the ones your watch can actually measure are offered, and any slot can be switched off. - Four accent colours: Champagne gold, Rose, Platinum and Ice blue. - Three text sizes, plus an automatic adjustment that enlarges the text on smaller screens, so a 42 mm watch reads as easily as a 51 mm one. - Digital time in the centre and a hairline second hand, each of which can be switched off. - A deep radial background or a flat one, your choice. - On AMOLED watches, choose what stays on while the watch sleeps: all the numerals, the complications and the digital time, each on its own switch. Dimming and burn-in protection follow what your model requires, never a setting. - On transflective (MIP) watches, keep the full face while the watch sleeps or drop to a quieter one. - Distance and temperature follow your watch's own units; step and calorie counts are grouped with your language's thousands separator. - Five languages: English, Portuguese, French, German and Russian. The face follows your watch's language setting. === Tips and FAQs === The numbers change once an hour, all at the same time. That is how the face is meant to work, not a refresh problem. In between, only the minute dot, the second hand and the digital time move. The digital time in the centre is always 24-hour too, even when your watch is set to 12-hour. That way it always matches the ring. Experience may vary according to device model. A metric your watch has no sensor for never appears in the list. No floors without an altimeter, no solar intensity without solar charging. And on watches with a transflective (MIP) screen the dial is drawn flat, without the background gradient: those screens carry only four levels per colour channel, and a gradient there breaks into visible rings and tints the greys. What's new

0.1.1: the hour numbers are brighter, and a small screen bug is fixed. The hour numbers furthest from the current hour were too dim to read on some watches. They are brighter now, while the current hour still stands out the most. Also fixed: on the smallest screens, with the largest text size, the orbiting minute number could sit slightly past the edge of the screen at one particular minute. It now always stays fully on screen.
