About
HR Zone Graph
This data field is designed to give you maximum visibility into your heart rate at a glance — optimized for a 2×2 (quarter-screen) data field slot on Garmin Edge devices.
Key Features:
Current HR — a large, bold, easy-to-read display of your current heart rate, with a heart icon so it's always clear what you're looking at.
AVG / MAX — your average and maximum heart rate for the entire activity, shown right alongside the current value.
Zone Distribution — a 5-row bar chart shows how your time has been spent across heart rate zones 1–5 for the entire activity, regardless of which zone you're in right now, giving you an instant read on your overall training intensity.
Rolling HR Graph — a live, scrolling graph of your heart rate over the last few minutes, with the area under the curve color-coded by zone, so effort and intensity are visible at a glance.
Zone Boundary Lines — optional guide lines mark the zone boundaries directly on the graph, so you can see exactly how close you are to crossing into the next zone. Show all boundaries, only the ones nearest your current heart rate, or turn them off entirely.
Fully Customizable (via Field Settings):
Rolling graph window: 2–10 minutes
Zone bar style: filled or outline
Zone colors: 5 shades to choose from, for each of the 5 zones
Track color: background color of the (unfilled) zone bars
Zone boundary lines: on/off, thickness, and color
The perfect companion for every cyclist who wants precise control over their training intensity, right on the handlebars.
