About

REMINDER is a watch face that lays your day out as a 24-hour ring. Midnight is at the top and the day runs clockwise from there: 06:00 on the right, 12:00 at the bottom, 18:00 on the left. Up to eight reminders sit on that ring at their own time, each with a category icon, its own accent colour and its time beside it. One glance tells you what's behind you, what's coming, and how much day is left. When a reminder comes due, a banner appears across the face with its name and time, and its marker on the ring lights up with a bright white ring so you can see which one it is. The banner clears itself after 10 minutes. Nothing to tap, nothing to dismiss — you just look at your watch, the way you already do a hundred times a day, and it's there. Setting reminders happens in two places, and each does what it's good at. On the watch: hold MENU → Watch Face → REMINDER → Settings. Switch each of the eight on or off, pick from 14 ready-made reminders, set the time in 5-minute steps, and change the theme — all with the buttons, no phone in sight. On your phone, in Connect IQ App Settings, you get the two things a wrist is bad at: your own free-text labels, and times to the exact minute. Both edit the same eight reminders, so there's only ever one set of settings. Around the ring you get a proper watch face: the time in large digits with slim analog hands over it, the day and date, your steps, heart rate, the current weather and battery — all on one screen, no swiping. The 24-hour dial • Midnight at the top, clockwise — 06:00 right, 12:00 bottom, 18:00 left • A 48-dot track, one dot every half hour, with four brighter marks at 00:00, 06:00, 12:00 and 18:00 so the scale is easy to read at a glance • Reminders that fall close together fan apart automatically, so two markers never overlap — and ones that don't clash don't move at all • 8 categories, each with its own icon and colour: Medicine · Meeting · Water · Birthday · Workout · Shopping · Bills · Custom Set it up on your wrist, or on your phone • On the watch: on/off, 14 ready-made reminders (Morning Meds, Evening Meds, Drink Water, Afternoon Hydrate, Standup, Design Review, Workout, Morning Run, Stretch Break, Groceries, Pay Bills, Birthday, Lunch, Bedtime), the time in 5-minute steps, and the theme • On the phone, in Connect IQ App Settings: your own label for a reminder, and times to the exact minute • Both write the same eight reminders — edit in either place, the ring re-draws A full watch face around it • Large digital time with analog hour, minute and second hands over it • Day and date, in your watch's own language • Steps, heart rate, weather (temperature + condition icon) and battery % • 5 themes — Black, Deep Blue, Forest Green, Royal Purple, Sunset Orange • 12-hour or 24-hour, following your watch's own setting • Always-on display on AMOLED watches — a dimmed time, the date and the reminder dots stay on your wrist, measured well inside Garmin's burn-in budget Built for both screen types • Deep, rich colour on AMOLED • A hand-picked palette on MIP watches, so all eight categories and all five themes stay clearly distinct instead of collapsing into each other Good to know • These are visual reminders. A Connect IQ watch face has no access to the watch's sound or haptics — that's a platform rule, not a design choice — so REMINDER shows you the reminder instead of announcing it: a banner on the face and the marker lit on the ring, waiting for your next glance. • On the ring, the label beside a reminder is always its time. If you've given a reminder your own name, that name is what appears in the banner when it's due, where there's room to actually read it. • A reminder with no time set isn't drawn on the dial. On a ring where position means time, there's nowhere honest to put it — give it a time and it's back. No accounts, no ads, no permissions requested, nothing collected. One purchase, yours for good — no subscription. Questions or id
