Free Fishing Pokemon Watch Face!
This free Fishing Pokemon watch face was created with countless hours of fan dedication.
Cast your pokeball fishing hook every 360 steps and reel it in. The pokeball fishing bobber slowly rises as you gain steps.
This free watch face is data-rich, displaying steps, calories, heart rate, weather, temperature (in Fahrenheit and Celsius), notifications, alarms, and moon phase. The font is bold and easy to read.
The ocean background moves smoothly, with pokemon and fish swimming across at different angles and distances, creating a lifelike ocean effect. The colors mimic the muted green grayscale of a classic Gameboy, giving it a nostalgic retro look.
This watch is a tribute to Pokemon’s first generation, featuring Magikarp, Goldeen, Gyarados, Squirtle, and nearly every water pokemon that I could animate. Mew also makes a fun feature, and when you reach 8,000 steps you will catch a gold magikarp. The fonts and weather icons are also hand-drawn, adding to the watch's unique character.
Every detail, from the vector-drawn pokeball to the hand-drawn animations, have been meticulously crafted to bring this underwater watch to life. I actually did sit there and hand color, reformat, and animate each of these little sprites. There are only two frames per animation which "tick" every second- this is to save space because there are more than 90 animation pixel sprites. It also features a slow moving ocean background. You will see two new pokemon every 360 steps: One huge pokemon in the foreground, and one small pokemon swiming in the background.
The file size is HUGE due to the extensive artwork, but I hope you enjoy this little fan art watchface. This will definitely cause a slow download time. It’s actually one of the most dynamic pokemon watch faces available because I don't know who else has 90 animated pokemon sprites. I plan to use the same framework to make a Zelda Fishing Watchface. What do you think?
ANYWAYS, Please enjoy this free Pokemon watch face, and don’t forget to leave a review!
