About

Stress Tracker - App Description Stress Tracker is a comprehensive stress monitoring application designed for Garmin smartwatches. It continuously analyzes your heart rate data to track stress levels throughout the day, running silently in the background every 20 minutes without requiring constant attention or interaction. How It Works: The app uses advanced heart rate analysis to classify your stress into four distinct categories: Rest (very calm state), Low Stress (engaged but relaxed), Medium Stress (elevated tension), and High Stress (significant tension). Using a sophisticated weighted algorithm, it calculates an intuitive stress score ranging from 0-100, where higher scores indicate better relaxation and lower overall stress levels. This scoring system is designed to feel natural and intuitive, giving you meaningful insights into your daily stress patterns. Visual Indicators: The app employs a color-coded gauge system for instant visual feedback. Blue (75-100) represents an excellent, calm state. Yellow (50-74) indicates moderate stress levels. Orange (30-49) shows elevated stress that may need attention. Red (0-29) signals high stress requiring relaxation or intervention. These visual cues make it easy to understand your stress state at a glance. Key Features: - LastNight View: Displays your most recent stress monitoring session with comprehensive accumulated stress data and detailed breakdowns by stress category (Rest, Low, Medium, High percentages) - Profile View: Tracks your best and average stress metrics over customizable time periods including 31 days, 12 weeks, or 6 months, helping you identify trends -Raw Data View: Inspect live heart rate sensor readings and raw stress calculations for detailed analysis - Automatic Daily Reset: Fresh collection windows begin each day at midnight for consistent daily cycles - Local Data Storage: Maintains a 180-day rolling history of all stress data completely private on your device Background Operation Philosophy: This app is specifically optimized for efficient background operation. Once installed, it runs automatically without requiring constant user attention. Simply check your stress data once or twice daily to monitor your patterns. This "set it and forget it" approach maximizes battery efficiency while maintaining accurate, continuous stress tracking throughout your day. You don't need to keep the app constantly open in the foreground. Data Privacy & Security: All stress data is stored exclusively on your device. No information is sent to external servers or cloud services, ensuring complete privacy and data security. Important Medical Disclaimer: Stress Tracker provides general wellness insights and stress pattern tracking only. It is not a medical device and should never be used to diagnose, treat, or monitor any medical condition. Always consult qualified healthcare professionals for any health-related concerns or questions. Ideal Use Cases: Track your daily stress patterns and identify peak stress times, monitor stress trends over weeks and months, understand how different activities and situations affect your stress levels, and maintain awareness of your overall wellness without active app engagement.
