WeWiWi - Weather Wind Widget

A simple supplementary widget with glance view to display the wind forecast “around the clock” from the standard Garmin Weather data. The widget uses the same data as Garmin Weather widget, but focuses on the wind forecast. In the glance view it shows wind data for current time and in the base view the hourly wind (base wind) forecast for the next (max 12h) hours. The name of the location covered by the forecast (or the weather model) is also displayed. Wind speed unit can be selected in Connect Mobile/Garmin Express as either knots or kph or Beaufort or mps. Glance view Shows the observation location name, the wind speed in knots/kph/Bft/mps and its direction in degrees. Base widget view Hourly forecast data is laid out circularly to match the 12h clock face hours. The red line with the small arrowhead shows the starting hour of the available forecast. In the edge of the screen there is a colored wind speed graph (changing color at 5 knot steps). The wind speed in knots/kph/Bft/mps is displayed numerically. The wind direction is shown with an arrow. If the wind veers 5 or more degrees the arrow is green, if backs 5 or more degrees it is red. Weather conditions related to wind are also displayed with small icons: fog, squall, thunderstorm, tornado or hurricane. Central ring shows daylight time. Observation location name is in the center. NADA means: No Actual Data Available. Baro widget view For wind forecasting the barometer history (utilizing the watch’s own pressure sensor history) view with configurable (in Connect Mobile) storm pressure drop rate display can be used for fast visual evaluation of the pressure trend of the last 6 hours. If air pressure has dropped lately more steeply for a 3 hour or longer period than the indication lines, there is a high possibility of bad weather. The barometer view is reachable via up/down buttons when glances are enabled or start/back buttons when not.
