About

With GarminFhem, you can control your FHEM home automation system from your Garmin device. You can for instance open your garage when arriving at home with your bike or you can switch off the lights while walking upstairs to your bedroom. You can maintain any number of commands to be available on your Garmin device. They will be displayed page by page. The GarminFhem widget needs to be configured in Garmin Connect Mobile or Garmin Express. Most important is to setup the FHEM commands that shall be available on the Garmin device: A command needs to be maintained like this: Printer On==set switch_printer on. The first part represents the label text that will appear on the watch. Then use the chars == to separate the label from the command. Multiple commands have to be separated by |||. Example: Printer On==set switch_printer on|||Lights On==set switch_lights on Use http://garminfhem.florian-speth.de to simplify this configuration. Requirements: - FHEM, see http://www.fhem.org - When executing FHEM commands, your device needs to be connected with the Garmin device via Bluetooth. - Your FHEM installation needs to be reachable via an HTTPS connection that is trusted by Apple or Google respectively.

What's new

Version 0.43 (10-Oct-2022) Fixed issue in Garmin Express and the mobile apps, which started to ignore the former command separator chars ||| upon saving the settings. Now, the command separator needs to be maintained separately. Support for Edge 530, Enduro, Epix2, all Fenix 7 variants, Forerunner 55, all Forerunner 255 variants, Forerunner 945 LTE, Forerunner 955, all Venu and Venu2 variants Version 0.42 (4-Feb-2021) Support for Edge 830 Version 0.41 (19-Jan-2021) Support for all Fenix6 variants, D2 Air, Forerunner 745 Version 0.40 Support for Approach S62, Captain Marvel, Vivoactive 4 & Vivoactive 4S Version 0.39: Support for Forerunner 245 & Music, 945 and GPSMAP 66s Version 0.38: Fixed a Bug in the configuration for FHEM installations that require no authentication. Improved Command Messages, in particular in case of errors. Support for all current Fenix watches, D2 series, FR935, Vivoactive 3, FR645 & Music and some more Version 0.37: Support for Fenix 5 series. Version 0.36: Simple (and ugly :) ) web site for the command string configuration available: http://garminfhem.florian-speth.de Fixed that an error was shown even if a command was executed successfully - in particular when using HTTPS. Fixed that on the Vivoactive HR the texts for the gestures had the wrong direction. Now the correct directions should be shown. Version 0.30: Added support for many additional watches. Version 0.20: Contains some bigger changes because only one button can be used on the first page of a widget on the Forerunner 235. Because of that, the "FHEM Main Command" got deleted. Now, only one settings for all commmands has to be used. If you have used the previous version 0.15 already, please add your previous "FHEM Main Command" to the "FHEM Command" setting. Since there was a lot of unused space on the first screen of the widget which cannot be used for FHEM commands for technical reasons, the current time will be displayed there.
