The Arc is built on a simple idea: time isn't a number, it's a distance.
Instead of digits, hands, or tick marks, The Arc reduces your watch face to two points of light on the very edge of the screen - one marking the hour, one marking the minute - connected by a glowing arc that traces the shortest path between them. At a glance, the width of that arc tells you how the hour and minute relate to each other. A wide arc early in the hour, a narrow one as the minute hand approaches the hour mark, and at 12:00 and 00:00 the two points align perfectly into a single, still point of light.
Everything else is stripped away. The background is pure, deep black - not just for calm, uncluttered aesthetics, but because true black pixels draw virtually no power on your watch's AMOLED display. This is a watch face designed to be gentle on both your eyes and your battery.
How to read it:
- At 12:15, the hour point sits at the top and the minute point sits a quarter of the way around - the arc traces a clean 90-degree curve between 12 and 3.
- At 08:50, a long arc stretches between the 8 and the 10 marks.
- At the top of the hour, the two points draw closest together, marking a brief moment of visual stillness before the next hour begins.
Subtle, optional information, without the clutter:
- Battery level is woven into the arc itself - thicker and brighter blue when your battery is full, thinning to a hairline red when it's running low. No numbers, no icons, just a shift you notice in passing.
- A small hollow ring appears silently at the exact center of the screen only once you've reached your daily step goal - and stays invisible the rest of the time.
No seconds hand, no complications competing for attention, no visual noise. The Arc was designed for people who want their watch to feel like a quiet moment on their wrist rather than a dashboard - a small, recurring piece of kinetic art that happens to also tell the time.
Built natively for round Garmin displays and optimized across the fenix 7 Pro, fenix 7, fenix 8, epix (Gen 2), Venu, MARQ (Gen 2), and Forerunner AMOLED families.
