Max Depth
· v2.3.6-1
About
An _approximate_ measurement for the maximum water depth (during the activity).
**Do not rely on this app for safety.** It is a curiosity for snorkelling and casual swimming, not a dive instrument.
This is purely meant for fun purposes and testing water depth and should not be relied on (e.g. by divers) as an actual precise measurement.
See the GitHub project for a more detailed readme on how the app works: https://github.com/finfinack/depth
Note: Unfortunately I had to remove support for a few devices which a) make maintenance harder and b) do not seem to fully work according to some users. This primarily supports Fenix/Tactix now. Please see my GitHub project and build it for your own device.
What's new
- detect and highlight pressure reading maxing out
- improve how spurious peak detection works, expose max raw in FIT
- stop resetting surface point and add ? when surface point reading looks wrong
- fix the re-zero depth setting sometimes doing nothing
- fix an extreme depth being recorded as no reading at all in the activity file
- record dive count and bottom time
- add depth to activity summary
- removed support for a few devices I can't test as well, limiting to Fenix series
- add support for new Fenix 9
