About

Now with 1Hz operation. See below for more details. Slight modification of Oliver Bär's AviatorLike analog watch face https://apps.garmin.com/en-US/apps/f0cae216-6a48-4648-b745-9c6538c8e054 My sincere gratitude to Oliver for his generosity in making his source code available. And my apologies to him for having to deal with my novice attempts at both programming and using GitHub. If you like his app, consider donating to Oliver. Link in his store above. See Oliver's app description for basic details of the app. My modifications include: * 1Hz second hand update * Option for reverse (counterclockwise) operation * Option for 6-bit background color, but didn't make any check for that capability in the watch. If the watch cannot show six bit color, it'll do the next closest color it can display * Changed the stock "yellow" color for something that looks more like yellow to my eyes. From 0xFFAA00 to 0xFFFF00 * Option to remove outline color for the "simple" hand style * Minor change of some graphic * Option to use some icons- this may or may not make things clearer. Still want to add more icons to duplicate stock Garmin watch faces, such as GPS, Do Not Disturb, and with CIQ 3.0, WiFi and BlueTooth connectivity (vs. phone connectivity) I haven't checked that this works with all round or semi-round watches, and my code doesn't check on Connect IQ version, so I may have added a watch that cannot support this watch face. Note: This app may not be updated all that often, if at all. I'm just adding features to MY watch, and if something should happen to cause me to stop using it, expect this to become abandonware. Source code- ugly as it may be- is provided so you too can make your own changes. Until then, support thread is at: https://forums.garmin.com/forum/developers/1398280

What's new

* Version 1.0.2-reverse: Added icons for the dial markers for battery, steps, sunup and sundown. Battery has charge percentage in icon. Also have choice displaying (dis)connected indicator at 12 o'clock position. User has the choice of colors for (dis)connected indicators, move bar, and dial marker icon outlines. Heart rate now attempts to pull from more current sources. HR is not 1hz update, but will update faster when in non-low-power mode (ie: with the looking-at-watch gesture). Dropped FR735 support because it's not working in the simulator. I assume either I've maxed out its resources, or my code is buggy. Probably the latter. Unfortunately, this uses up even more resources, so may be more unstable and crash. Graphic intensive features such as the steps graph and the moon phase are more likely to crash. * Version 1.0.1-reverse: 1Hz option added and changed the settings menus a bit. Probably a bit more unstable than the previous version. Sorry. Note that the 1Hz second hand only works on watches that support the onPartialUpdate option. Other watches will still somewhat work, but not with 1Hz, except in the usual non-low-power mode when you flick your wrist properly. The watchface may run out of memory and crash, especially with the moon phase display and steps graph both running at the same time, or for older watches- I'm looking at you, FR735XT. This crash will happen immediately after changing settings and the watch will revert to a different watchface. You will need to change the settings back to get the watchfece working again. Issues: Settings page isn't smart enough to know if you only have a sixteen color watch, or if it's not 1Hz capable. I haven't completely implemented the 1hz code, so it doesn't work with vector fonts, specifically the Simple font. You may want to use Oliver's watchface until I can fix it. Version 0.9: First release!
