About

This is the FREE 48-HOUR TRIAL of Pitlane. Every feature is unlocked, with a small countdown on the dial. After that it keeps working as a plain clock. The full version is a separate watch face - buy it, install it, then select it on your watch. Get the full version here: https://apps.garmin.com/en-GB/apps/c7ca5ea2-3bac-48d9-88f5-5a79ef4ada67 Like this watch face? Please consider leaving a review or sending me feedback directly, it really helps the development! Pitlane turns your watch into a racing-dash instrument cluster. A full-perimeter shift-light tachometer wraps the rim in forty-four chunky segments. They climb as your day builds, glowing in your accent colour while you are on track. They flash red the moment you fall behind, just like a shift light. Dead-centre sit the hero digits, striped with a fine diagonal hatch and baked into a custom typeface, so the time reads like a real dash. The digits are evenly spaced, so the clock holds its place instead of drifting as the minutes change, and it is sized for your watch rather than the nearest size. Below them, two ghost seven-segment panels glow with your live numbers. An E-to-F fuel gauge tracks a metric of your choosing: amber while there is plenty in the tank, red as it drops into the reserve, with a small monochrome icon naming what it reads. It all sits on a true-black carbon ground, so the lit segments and readouts pop and nothing else gets in the way. The whole dashboard is yours to configure, from your phone or from your wrist. Press and hold the watch face to open the settings on the watch itself, with no phone needed. Point the tachometer at any of twenty-nine readouts: steps, floors, distance and active minutes, but also heart rate, Body Battery, SpO2, sleep score and the weather. Read it as a fixed instrument scale with an honest numbered dial, or as a percent-of-goal counter, against your watch's goals or your own. The E-to-F gauge takes thirty readouts. Health and fitness: battery, Body Battery, stress, HR and heart-rate zone, resting heart rate, SpO2, respiration, sleep score and VO2 max. Activity and training: steps, floors, distance, active minutes, weekly intensity, the move bar and calories. Weather and environment: temperature, feels-like, humidity, UV index, pressure, elevation, sunrise and sunset. The two ghost panels draw on a wider catalogue again, adding recovery time, precipitation, wind, dew point, solar intensity, ascent and descent, and goal remainders. Each has its own crisp on-device icon, or switch a panel off for a cleaner cluster and the rest re-space to fill the gap. The date can be turned off on the dial too, if you would rather have the space. Show the number of unread notifications on the dial, and choose whether the Bluetooth cue means connected or disconnected. Colour is a single decision or a fine one. Pick a livery and the whole cluster retints at once, or choose an accent scheme and set the hero clock yourself from forty colours, neon and metallic among them. The low-fuel red, the reserve amber and the safety cues stay true through all of it, the way a real instrument would. The always-on display is the dash, dimmed and stripped for burn-in safety, not a different watch face. It keeps the same hatched hero time and the same E-to-F bar, now with a battery symbol so the bar is unmistakable. Choose what it carries, the date, the battery, your status cues, set the clock size, and give it its own colour if you want one. Your Body Battery and heart-rate history feed the on-device readouts; your Garmin complication data drives the health readouts (VO2 max, recovery time and sleep score); your profile powers the active-calories estimate; and your location is used only for sunrise and sunset. Nothing ever leaves the watch.
