A screen for every seat on the boat The Race Compass adapts to your role with dedicated presets: - Tactician - laylines, VMC to the mark, wind trends and shift detection, and which side is paying. - Helm - target vs. actual TWA side by side, so you can stees steer-to-mark mode when you're laying the buoy. - Trimmer - speed against polar target and percent-of-target, so the trim is always pointed at boatspeed. - Bow - distance and time to the line and to the next mark. Built for real racing - Precision start timer with line-snap pings, time-to-burn, and distance-to-line - plus Autostart: when the committee announces the start, set the time of day and the countdown launches itself, right on the gun. - Polar-based targets, laylines, and VMG/VMC from a built-in boat library or your own polars (up to 8 boats). - Automatic leg advancing as you round each mark. - Wind shift detector with trend history. - Manual TWD entry when you don't have a wind instrument. - A race Health screen - heart rate, calories, and race averages - recorded straight to the FIT activity. SignalK integration is on the way: boats running a SignalK server will feed live wind and position straight to every crew watch, so targets, laylines, and the me from the boat's own sensors - no manual entry needed.
