A watch face for padel players who also ride. The court is not a picture behind the numbers - it is the layout. The time sits on the net line. The four service boxes hold your figures. The ring around the edge is the day itself: blue for night, dim amber for the daylight you have used, bright amber for the daylight left. One glance tells you whether there is still light for another set. WHAT IT SHOWS Left side, your month: - Padel games played, and hours on court - Bike distance, rides and hours Right side, right now: - Wind speed, with an arrow pointing where it is blowing - Temperature and altitude - Steps, Body Battery and heart rate Around the edge: - Sunrise and sunset, drawn as a daylight arc with a live marker for now - Date and watch battery COUNTING HAPPENS BY ITSELF Padel sessions and rides are counted as you finish them. The face listens for completed activities and recognises padel by its activity type. There is nothing to press and nothing to remember. Connect IQ does not let a watch face read your activity history, so the monthly totals start at zero on the day you install it. Settings let you enter what you had already done this month - games, hours, kilometres, rides - and those are added to everything counted from then on. THINGS TO KNOW Hours on court may show "--". Garmin tells a watch face which sport has just finished, but not how long it lasted. Two ways of recovering the duration are attempted; if neither works on your watch, the time is left blank rather than invented. Game and ride counts are exact either way. Wind, temperature and sunrise/sunset come from the weather your phone syncs to the watch. If your watch's own weather widget is empty, these show "--" too. Bike distance is built up from Garmin's weekly cycling total. It is accurate in normal use, but can undercount if the face is never on screen across a week boundary. WHY IT ASKS FOR PERMISSIONS - Background: to notice when a padel session or a ride finishes, so it can be counted - Sensor history: Body Battery and altitude - Complications: weekly cycling distance - Position: sunrise and sunset for where you are Nothing leaves the watch. No data is collected, stored off-device or shared with anyone. THE DESIGN The palette is the court's own, within the 64 colours the watch can show: court navy, glass blue, white line paint. Ball green appears in exactly two places - your padel count, and the marker for now. The geometry is real. The service lines sit 6.95 m into a 10 m half court, and the centre service line runs only from the net to the service line, exactly as it is painted on a court.
