Weight & Balance Calculator for pilots Calculates take-off and landing mass, centre of gravity (CG), and checks the result against the selected aircraft type’s CG envelope and mass limits — directly on your Garmin watch. IMPORTANT SAFETY NOTICE Built-in empty mass and empty-mass arm values are examples only. Before use, enter the real aircraft-specific values from the current weighing report. The official AFM/POH and current weighing report remain authoritative. Always cross-check the app result against the official aircraft documentation. Use at your own risk. FIRST START AND SETUP On first launch, confirm the safety notice. The hangar starts empty. Add your first aircraft with + Add Aircraft. Select the aircraft type, enter the registration, then replace the example empty mass and empty arm with your real aircraft values. Review the aircraft data under Aircraft Details and approve it only after checking it against your documents. EDIT LOAD Select an aircraft and use Edit Load to enter seats, baggage, fuel and trip fuel. Fuel is entered in litres unless changed under Setup → Units. Load items show their maximum allowed values. CALCULATE Tap the watch to move through the result screens: * Envelope Graph: CG envelope with TO and LDG points * Load Results: take-off and landing mass and CG * Load Info: mass and moment breakdown * Aircraft Data: type data, version and approval status Warnings include CG outside the envelope, mass above limits, trip fuel greater than take-off fuel and station load above limit. UNITS AND UPDATES Setup → Units toggles metric and imperial units. Changing units affects display and input. If newer aircraft type data is included in an update, affected aircraft show a one-time notice. Review the data and choose Use new or Keep old. Aircraft requests may require usable AFM/POH data, especially Chapter 6 weight and balance data. Please note: Some newly added aircraft types are compiled from publicly available certification data and may not be individually AFM/POH-verified. Always confirm all values against the official POH/AFM and current weighing report of your specific aircraft before flight.

What's new in version 1.43 New aircraft: • ICP Savannah SR — added from the official manufacturer POH (Rev 00), including the 4-tank fuel configuration. The aircraft library now covers 70 aircraft types. New feature: • Optional engine-oil station for aircraft whose certified empty weight excludes oil (Cessna 150L/M, 175 family, PA-28-140, Arrow II) — enter oil in liters or quarts and it's included in the calculation.
