About

The "Moxy 1st Sensor" Data Field allows the Moxy SmO2 and THb values to be displayed inside of native Garmin Activities and to be recorded to the device's .fit file and uploaded to Garmin Connect . After the data field is downloaded to your device, it can be added to the display just like any native data field. In small sized data field formats, the display will toggle between SmO2 and THb. In larger fields, both parameters will be displayed at once. When the data field is installed, it defaults to a sensor number of 0. This will have the device pair to the first Moxy sensor it finds every time the Data Field is started. You can use Garmin Express or the Garmin Connect Mobile App to change the sensor number to be your actual Moxy sensor number. This way, it will only pair to your Moxy sensor. The data field defaults to having the placement location be "location not set". You can set this parameter to the actual muscle location in Garmin Express or the Garmin Connect Mobile App. The sensor location parameter will help keep track of the location that the sensor was worn and record that information in the .fit file. This data field is called the "Moxy 1st Sensor" Data Field. Some data analysis software packages organize their data by the 1st MO2 Sensor, 2nd MO2 Sensor and so on. The "Moxy 1st Sensor" Data Field data will always show up in their 1st MO2 Sensor data slot. There is also a "Moxy 2nd Sensor" Data Field for all supported devices and a "Moxy 3rd Sensor" Data Field for those devices capable of running more than 2 data fields.
