MGRS CP Reference Tool

This app displays your location MGRS (Military Grid Reference System) co-ordinates and distance+heading to/from defined Control Points (CP) or waypoints. # Features * 3 Views: Current position, Relative position and Map. * Relative position view shows distance and heading to/from defined Control Points (CP) or waypoints. (Use UP/DOWN buttons to scroll between CPs) * Select the view from the app menu * White or black background * Selectable units for heading (degrees or mils) * Specify up to 5 Control Points (CP) or waypoints, specified in MGRS or latitude,longitude (Enter 2 numbers in decimal degrees separated by a comma). To specify using MGRS, use the following format: ##A AA ##########. For example, 05C BA 1234512345. * Select the active Control Points from the app menu # Map View Features * Displays map of current grid square and current location within that square * Displays current MGRS co-ordinates, current scale, and Control Points in the current grid square * 4 level scale, 100 km to 100m * Zoom in or out using DOWN/UP buttons or touching on the lower/upper half of the screen * Option to enable/disable sub-grid lines # PRO Version Features * Specify up to 20 Control Points (CP) or waypoints, specified in MGRS or latitude,longitude (Enter 2 numbers in decimal degrees separated by a comma). To specify using MGRS, use the following format: ##A AA ##########. For example, 05C BA 1234512345. * Option to display time in the Current position view (Except on Instinct Crossover) * Compass heading indicator in all 3 views (filled pointer) * Heading to selected CP in the Relative position view (open pointer) * Option to display of elevation in the Current position and Map views # PRO Version Map View Features * 5 level scale, down to 10m grid square * Option to save current location in CP list by pressing the SELECT button * Option to label co-ordinates of adjacent grid squares * Option to display recent breadcrumb path * Option to display street map (or terrain/trail map on AMOLED devices) layer. (Color displays only). A live internet connection via the Garmin Connect app on your phone is required. This requires a (free) access token from https://mapbox.com and enter it in the "Mapbox access token" setting.
